On 28 January 2025, the 70th committee of the Thai Students’ Association in Cairo under the Royal Patronage (TSA) led by Mr. Arif Saisa-id, the President of TSA, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt on the occasion of the assumption of their duties.

On this occasion, the Ambassador welcomes the opportunity to work closely with the committee to achieve the goals for the benefits of the students and to promotion of Thai culture and Thai-Egyptian relations at people-to-people level. At the same time, the Association presented plans and activities to be implemented throughout 2025, covering various areas including religion, academics, culture, sports, welfare, and skill and career development.

The Thai Students’ Association in Cairo under the Royal Patronage was founded on 8 February 1955, and will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment this year. TSA is the main organization that looks after the welfare of Thai students in Egypt, with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo.
