Please read and follow the instructions carefully before you submit your visa application
1. STARTING FROM 8 OCTOBER 2024 ONWARDS, All national of Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti, and Eritrea who wishes to travel to Thailand for any purpose must apply for a Thai visa and submit all required documents through the NEW ONLINE e-VISA PLATFORM:
*Please double check the spelling of your FULL NAME as appear on e-Visa system is match with your passport before selecting submission. Any wrong spelling or incomplete will lead to automactic rejection of application and no refund.
2. It is no longer required for the applicant to submit a passport and original supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo.
3. A passport or travel document should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the validity of the requested visa.
*Do not submit your application more than 3 months before your departure date.
4. All Non-Egyptian applicants MUST HAVE EGYPTIAN RESIDENCE.
5. All required documents MUST BE IN ENGLISH or TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH.
6. The processing time is up to 10 working days. Imcomplete documents will cause a delay in processing time.
7. The e-Visa system will accept ONLY PAYMENT WITH VALID CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS.
8. After the e-Visa application has been approved, the applicant will receive a confirmation via email. A printed copy of the confirmation email must be presented to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration when arriving to Thailand.
<< IMPORTANT >>
• The Embassy will review the application after submission, on a first-come, first-served basis, which may result in the refusal of visa or the number of entry reduced.
• The Royal Thai Embassy RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY APPLICATION WITHOUT HAVING TO PROVIDE ANY REASON.
• The Royal Thai Embassy RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS.
• Interview may be requested for any individual, upon the consideration of the Consul.
• If any applicant submits FRAUD DOCUMENTS, his/her application will be rejected and reported for further action including probibition to enter into Thailand.
