E-Visa

It is no longer required for the applicant to submit a passport and original supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo.  A national of Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti, and Eritrea who wishes to travel to Thailand for any purpose must apply for a Thai visa and submit all required documents through the new online e-Visa platform:

*Please double check the spelling of your FULL NAME as appear on e-Visa system is match with your passport before selecting submission. Any wrong spelling or incomplete will lead to automactic rejection of application and no refund. 

 

After the e-Visa application has been approved, the applicant will receive a confirmation via email. A printed copy of the confirmation email must be presented to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration when arriving to Thailand.

Processing Time
  • Up to 10 working days.
  • Incomplete documents will cause a delay in processing time.
  • You are recommended to apply for a visa at least 4 weeks before the travel date.
  • Do not submit your application more than 3 months before your departure date.
Eligibility
  • A national of Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti, and Eritrea
  • Another nationality must have a residency in Egypt.
  • The visa applications will be rejected should you fail to provide the evidence of your residency.
Provide Accurate Information
  • The applicants must provide genuine documents and information, especially bank statement,   HR letter, and Social Insurance with English translation.
  • If the applicants are found to provide false documents or give false information, their applications will be rejected and be reported for further determination of appropriate action including prohibition to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.

Payment

  • The system will accept only payment with valid credit and debit cards.
Non-Refundable
  • Visa fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome.

Remarks
  • Processing will be delayed if the above instructions are not followed. Failure to do so will cause a visa rejection/delay.
  • The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents or interview as deemed necessary as well as reject any application without having to provide any reason.
