On 5 June 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo organised a workshop for Thai students in Egypt with Mr Kriangkrai Monvichit, a Thai Muslim Film Director, and Ms. Kanjana Sriman, a Screenwriter of movies “My Love is Soup” and “The Djine’s Curse”. The Thai students learned about job opportunities in the Thai film industry, and the practical application of the Arabic language, such as translation of film subtitles and working in sales departments. The speakers also emphasised the importance of self-discovery and talents, how to improve skills for better job opportunities, and the preparation for Artificial Intelligence, as well as how to use film as a medium to promote multi-cultural society according to Islamic principles.
