On 21 September 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo, in cooperation with Dusit Thani Lakeview Hotel, an official sponsor, Office of Commercial Affairs, and Tourism Authority of Thailand, Dubai Office, organised Thai Festival under the theme “Colourful Thailand 2025” at Palms Ballroom Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo, to promote Thai culture, Thai tourism, food and Thai food products and Thai traditional costumes in Egypt.

On the occasion, the Embassy invited “The Land of Art” performance crew from Thailand, supported by Tourism Authority of Thailand Dubai Office, to perform Thai traditional Thai puppet show, Thai Coconut shell dance, Bamboo Thai Tap Dance, Siam Culture – Songkran and Loy Kratong Festivals, Thai Folk dance and Muay Thai Demonstration, which were admired and participated by the audience on the stage. Moreover, the Embassy also displayed Exhibition and showcase a fashion show of 8 Thai traditional costumes, which was supported by Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, to present the story of the costumes and to inspire the preservation of Thai culture. The guests also had the opportunity to participate in umbrella painting and food and vegetable carving. The event was visited by over 400 interested persons of diplomatic community members, businessmen, importers and exporters of Thai products, Friends of Thailand, Thais living in Egypt and Egyptian travel/food bloggers.

The Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Dubai Office, also kindly supported the promotional materials and gifts to promote Thai tourism at the event, including Doi Kham Food Products Co., Ltd., which has supported dried fruits products for distribution, and Thai product importers and exporters who have supported products for display at the event.
