On 17 September 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo organised a flower laying ceremony to commemorate the 100th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol (King Rama VIII) on 20 September 2025. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Thanabordee Joothong, Charges d’affairs and attended by officials of the Royal Thai Embassy as well as Team Thailand in Cairo and spouses.
