During 4-5 and 8 March 2019 the Royal Thai Embassy organized the overseas elections in Cairo, Egypt and Khartoum, Sudan respectively for Thai nationals in both countries who registered for overseas election. 1,653 voters turned out at polling stations out of total 1,875 registered which is 88.16 percent. Since the election is highly important, the embassy systematically organized the polling stations and thus facilitated the voters to cast their votes in such a short time.
