On 27^th and 28^th February 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo participated in the 16^th Sakia Exhibition for Culture Services at El Sawy Culture Wheel, a well-known cultural centre in Cairo. The event provided the opportunity for embassies and cultural centers in Egypt to showcase their cultures through various activities. In the event, the Royal Thai Embassy decorated its booth to promote Thai arts, culture and tourism as well as making various activities to promote the country and its culture, including Thai costume-wearing photo opportunity and Thai name spelling for visitors. About 1,000 visitors and numerous media outlets participated in the event.
