On 3 June 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo organized a meeting for Mr. Kriangkrai Monvichit, “My Love Is Soup” Film Director, with Mr. Essam Zakaria, Director of Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), one of the oldest and largest film festivals in the Arab world and Africa and the only festival in the region to be accredited as a Category A festival by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). Both sides discussed the opportunity to participate in CIFF for Thai films as well as Thai producers, directors, and Thai film agencies/companies. CIFF is a great platform and opportunity to promote Thai films in the Arab world and Africa.
