On 24 June 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasankarn, President of Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU) and his delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand in Egypt, at the Ambassador’s Residence during PKRU’s visit to Egypt to promote educational cooperation between Thailand and Egypt. The Royal Thai Embassy shared information about Egypt’s potential and interest in Thailand’s tourism business, while the university provided information about the university’s curriculum and cooperation with universities in other countries, as well as opportunities to continue cooperation with the Thai Students’ Association in Cairo under Royal Patronage and leading Egyptian universities, such as educational guidance activities and short-term student exchanges to gain experience in service sector. The Royal Thai Embassy stands ready to support the university in organizing activities to enhance students’ skills, such as organizing special lectures, exchanging knowledge, and creating networks among students. Educational cooperation is one of the important bridges connecting Thailand and Egypt through people-to-people relations.
