On 27 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, led the officials and spouses, staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, and representatives of Thai students and Thai Communities in a volunteer activity on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua attaining the same age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I), the founder of the Chakri Dynasty.

The Royal Thai Embassy, in cooperation with Very Nile, an Egyptian social enterprise for social and environmental development, helped collect plastic garbage from the Nile in the area of Qusayya Island which will be used for recycling and upcycling. In addition, the Ambassador of Thailand also visited Very Nile Center to learn about its activities to support the local community for Sustainability and discussed the possibility of cooperation with the Center.
