 On 23 July 2018 Mr. Sata Arayakul, Minister Counselor, represented His Excellency Mr. Chainarong  Keratiyutwong, Ambassador of Thailand, in an opening ceremony of the Fatwa Training Course taught by Office of Dar al Iftaa of Egypt. The courses had been held annually by the Embassy with an aim to equip Thai students in Egypt with correct understanding of Moderate Islam. This year’s course was titled with “Analyzing and Confronting Extremist Thinking”.

 

Mr. Arayakul had also greeted 120 Thai students who were selected to attend the course and had discussed with Dr. Amr Wardani, the Director of the Office of the Training Course of Dar al Iftaa, about an importance of the course and the role of Dar al Iftaa in confronting the proliferation of an extremist thinking in order to apprehend Muslims and Non-Muslims with an essence of Moderate Islam.
