The Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo organized “Cultural Festival of Thailand 2017” on 16^th August 2017 at El Sawy Culture Wheel, Cairo and on 18^th August 2017 at Soho Sqaure, Sharm el Sheikh to showcase Thai traditional performing arts and Thai products as well as to disseminate tourism information of Thailand to the general public in Egypt. The event was well received in both cities with high number of participants turned out.

The Festival’s activities included Thai traditional dance performed by Thai cultural troupe from Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, fruit carving, Muay Thai (Thai boxing) demonstration, and exhibition on Thailand’s tourism and Thai products. “Cultural Festival of Thailand” gave visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy the charm of the land of smiles.
