On 16 July 2014, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, hosted the Iftar A.H. 1435 (B.E. 2557) to Thai students in Egypt at Soleh Kamel, Al-Azhar University. The event was attended by approximately 350 students.

                    The participants enjoyed various activities such as recitation of Al Quran by Mr. Muhammad Sharif Yaman, and a lecture on the “Glory Ramadan” by Mr. Sukree Surakhamhaeng, a lecturer of Center of Non-Formal and Informal Education of Thailand in Egypt. The Ambassador also exchanged views with Thai students and wished them success in their studying and personal development.

                     On this occasion, the Ambassador, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai students had dinner Iftar together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
