On Saturday 28 June 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a meeting between the Embassy and the Thai Students' Association in Cairo together with leaders of 39 Thai Students’ Clubs. H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt presided over the meeting which was attended by approximately 70 participants.

                   The Ambassador exchanged view with Thai students on ways and means to support Thai students in fields of education and their living such as projects on Arabic, English, and Thai training courses, sport activities, educational advice, skill development, and educational equalization. The Ambassador expressed the Embassy's readiness to support the activities of Thai students in Egypt and will look into the possibilities to pursue those suggestions.

                   On this occasion, the Ambassador briefed the situation in Thailand and Egypt and they joined dinner with Thai students in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
