On 10 May 2014, Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, and his wife together with officials and spouses of the Royal Thai Embassy attended ASEAN Family Day at the Arabella Country Club, in outskirt of Cairo.

                 The event was attended by over 150 diplomats and families from 8 ASEAN Embassies in Cairo. The participants enjoyed various activities such as buffet lunch, ASEAN traditional plays and games in a warm and friendly atmosphere which has helped lie the bond of ASEAN community in Cairo.
