On 20 October 2020, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Arab Republic of Egypt, along with Ambassadors and Chargé d’Affaires from 8 ASEAN Member States in Egypt attended a special briefing hosted by H.E. Mr. Tarek Elwassimy, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Asia-Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt. On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on ways to enhance cooperation between Egypt and ASEAN as well as its member states.
