During 26 – 27 February 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo participated in the 17th Sakia Exhibition for Cultural Services at El Sawy Culture Wheel, a well-known cultural centre in Cairo. The event was an opportunity for embassies and cultural centres in Egypt to showcase their cultures and traditions through various activities. In the event, the Royal Thai Embassy decorated its booth to promote Thai arts, culture and tourism, as well as organised various activities to promote Thailand and its culture including Thai national costume fittings as well as translating names into Thai. Over 400 visitors and numerous media outlets participated in the event.
