On 20^th October 2019, Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo officially launched the book titled “Thailand through the eyes of Miss Egypt” during Miss Egypt Universe 2019 competition at Al Masa Hotel, Cairo.

Earlier this year, the Embassy invited Ms. Nariman Khaled, Miss Egypt 2018, and Ms. Shimaa Mamdouh, Egyptian writer, to visit Thailand and take part in many activities, including attending Thai cooking class, meeting with Thai fashion designers and visiting local community – before returning to write the book about their experience from the trip. 

At the event, the Embassy distributed the books to all the guests which included celebrities, well-known TV personalities, businessmen as well as journalists who welcomed the Embassy’s initiative with great enthusiasm. The book was written in Arabic so that it can reach out to all Egyptians and thus help create better understanding of Thailand in the Egyptian society.
