The Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo welcomed Thailand Women’s National Under-18 Volleyball Team who travelled to Egypt to compete in FIVB Girls’ U18 Volleyball Championship in Egypt during 5-14 September 2019.

Royal Thai Embassy invited Thai community to attend Thailand’s matches to support the team. During the competition, there were high turnouts of Thai fans, numbered between 300-500 fans each day, which were praised by many media outlets. On the same occasion, Thai Ambassador also attended matches in person and hosted a dinner reception for the Thai team.
