Distinguished guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

On the occasion of the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Thai National Day, and Thai Father’s Day, I am heartened to join you in commemorating the magnanimousness of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, which had been shown to our country and to all of us, Thai citizens.

Throughout 70 years of the reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, His Majesty had reigned the country with righteousness for the benefits and happiness of the people by upholding the Ten Royal Virtues. His Majesty’s lifelong dedication and hard work, culminating in well over 4,000 Royal Projects, had immeasurably contributed to the well-being of all Thai citizens. The Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, bestowed by His Majesty upon the people, has fostered the spirit of self-reliance and self-immunity for all Thai citizens against social changes and global economic externalities. Royal speeches by His Majesty on numerous occasions have become a source of moral support and solidarity for all Thais, providing the necessary impetus for Thailand to transcend various crises.

Since His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua acceded the throne as the tenth monarch of the Chakri Dynasty, His Majesty has resolved to continue, preserve and build upon the legacy of His Majesty’s Father in creating happiness and stability for all citizens of the land under His Majesty’s patronage. His Majesty the King initiated Volunteer Project “Doing Good Deeds for Country, Religion and the Monarchy” with a view to fostering a sense of solidarity, incubating a sense of generosity among the people and a shared sense of responsibility preserving the peace in our beloved nation.

On this occasion, I invite all fellow Thai citizens residing overseas and all distinguished guests to commemorate the benevolence of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, to take pride in Thainess, as well as to promote good aspects of Thai cultures to the international community.
