On 29 July 2024, His Eminence Mr. Aroon Boonchom, Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, presided over the closing ceremony of the 2024 International Academic Fair organized by the Thai Students’ Association in Cairo under the Royal Patronage and with the support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo. On this occasion, His Eminence presented 15 prizes to the winners of academic and artistic competitions in various areas that took place over the past five days. His Eminence also donated a computer and financial support to the Thai Students’ Association. In his closing remarks, His Eminence encouraged Thai students to have a meaningful experience in Egypt and be diligent in their study so they can contribute to the society once they graduate and return to Thailand. In addition, His Eminence visited the stores of various student clubs and met with the great crowd of students who had come to greet him. This is another rare and important event that will linger in memory of Thai Students in Cairo for a long time.
