The Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo invites those interested to participate in a photo and Instagram reel contest on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Thai-Egyptian Diplomatic Relations.

“Thailand and Egypt: The Untold Stories”
Eligibility
Thai or Egyptian nationals of all ages.
(Members of the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo and their family members are not eligible to participate.)
Awards
Photo
First Prize – 500 US Dollars
Second Prize – 200 US Dollars
Other photos may be selected for an exhibition as deemed appropriate.
Instagram Reel
First Prize – 500 US Dollars
Second Prize – 200 US Dollars
Other reels may be selected for an exhibition as deemed appropriate.
Submission Procedure
- Each participant can submit unlimited number of photos and Instagram reels only in his or her name. They can submit only a photo, only an Instagram reel, or both.
- Each photo and Instagram reel should reflect Thailand-Egypt relations and show stories that might not be well-known about the two countries’ relations, such as Egyptian cuisine in Thailand or ways of living for Thai community in Egypt, etc.
- For photos, please submit photographs that have a resolution of at least 4 million megapixels in JPG format. A caption not exceeding 1 paragraph (100 words) in Thai, English or Arabic, and an application must also be submitted. (See attachment)
- For Instagram reels, please submit vertical clip videos not exceeding 60 seconds in MP4 or MOV format. A caption not exceeding 1 paragraph (100 words) in Thai, English or Arabic, and an application must also be submitted. (See attachment)
- Submission must be sent to E-mail [email protected] with subject “Contest_Name” (e.g. Contest_John) by 16 September 2024.
- The photo or Instagram reel must not violate intellectual property rights and must not have been published before.
- The photo or Instagram reel must not be produced by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- The selection committee will select a number of photos and Instagram reels. Then, the winning photos and Instagram reels will be decided by a popular vote.
- The winner shall grant copyright of the photos and Instagram reels to the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo.
