On 23 June 2022, the Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo, together with Kafr El Sheikh Chamber of Commerce, organised a trade and investment seminar and met with Egyptian entrepreneurs to expand economic opoortunities and build network with a potential emerging city. Located to the North of Cairo and with a population of 4 million people, Kafr El Sheikh has potential in the areas of agriculture and fishery.
