On 6 March 2024, representative of the Royal Thai Embassy took part in International Day activity at Misr American College in Cairo. He talked about Thailand with third-graders on a variety of topics, such as tourist destinations, Thai traditional dresses, Thai greeting (“Wai”), Thai boxing, Thai fruits and food, and Songkran Festival. There were also Thai mask coloring and write-your-name-in-Thai activities. The students were interested and asked many questions about Thailand. They also shared their views on the similarities between Thailand and Egypt and learned about the 70th anniversary of Thai-Egyptian diplomatic relations this year.
