On 2 February 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy together with the Thai Students’ Association in Cairo under the Royal Patronage organized a workshop on Google Sites for Thai students in Cairo. The workshop curriculum was prepared by Google’s Applied Digital Skills. The students learned about basic features and benefits of Google Sites for creating user-friendly websites, including page layout, design customization, and adding various features. They also had the opportunity to design website and organise content to match with various purposes, such as calendars, forms, Google Drive, and maps, as well as publish their sites for public access. There were 18 students who received certificates from Google’s Applied Digital Skills.

 The said workshop is part of a Digital Skills Training program aimed at improving the digital skills of Thai students, as well as capacity building as part of preparation for future employment.
