From 1 April 2021,

1. Non-Thai travellers no longer need to present a Fit-to-Fly Certificate at check-in. It is sufficient to present a Medical Certificate with a results for an RT-PRC Test indicating that the traveler does not have COVID-19, issued in English no more than 72 hours before departure (in addition to the COE and health insurance covering COVID-19 throughout the stay in Thailand & ASQ confirmation).

2. The quarantine period will be reduced from 14 days (15 nights) to 10 days (11 nights) for travellers from countries with no mutated strain of the corona virus. The list of countries with mutated strains of the corona virus will be published and updated by the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand periodically. At present, Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti and Eritrea are not included in the said list. Therefore, travellers from these countries will enter a 10-day quarantine upon arrival in Thailand.

3. While undergoing quarantine, travellers will be allowed to engage in leisure activities, namely outdoor exercise, indoor fitness room exercise, swimming, and indoor cycling under a controlled environment. Travellers will also be able to order goods and food from outside, subject to conditions set by the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand.

The easing of restrictions will come into effect for those arriving in Thailand from 00.01 hrs. on 1 April 2021 (Bangkok time) onward.
