Continuing Education Session for Thai Students in Egypt

On 13 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Egypt presided over the opening of the continuing education session for Thai students in Egypt organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo in collaboration with Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), Ramkhamhaeng University and the Thai Students’ Association in Cairo under the Royal Patronage (TSA).

 

On this occasion, Ambassador Thanawat spoke about the current educational opportunities which open the door to learning without any restrictions, and the importance of lifelong learning, as well as the need for students to prepare for their careers after graduation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krisda Tanchaisak, Dean of the Graduate School, Acting for the President of Ramkhamhaeng University as Vice President for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narat Wattanapanit, Dean of Faculty of Education, Acting for the President of Ramkhamhaeng University as Vice President for Public Relations and Mr. Tamphong Wongchan, Acting Director of Regional Academic Resources and Community Engagement Center – STOU Nonthaburi also explained about the programs, application process, study modes, and exams of both universities. In addition, three senior students from both institutions, currently studying in Egypt, shared their direct experiences with other students. The session was held for the second year. This time, there were 35 students participated both in physical and online formats.
