H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, together with officers from the Royal Thai Embassy pay a visit to Sudan during 25 - 28 May 2022.

In the morning of 26 May 2022, Ambassador met with the delegates from the Sudanese Police and expressed his appreciation to them for taking a good care of a Thai citizen who had been working with the Police Garment Factory for over 20 years and recently passed away. The director of the factory also expressed his interest to import the materials from Thailand to make a uniform for Sudanese Police because of the high quality of Thai products.

Then, the Ambassador met with Mr. Osama Mohamed, Sudanese businessman, to explore an opportunity for investment in the areas of aquaculture, agriculture, and energy.

In afternoon, the Ambassador met with Prof. Hunud Abia Kadouf, Vice Chancellor of International University of Africa (IUA), in which there are about 300 Thai students studying. The IUA expressed its interest to receive technical assistance and support of machinery from Thailand.

Afterwards, the Ambassador visited the Thai students at the Office of Thai Students Union in Sudan.
