On 12 May 2022, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, and Mr. Thalerngsak Vongsamsorn, Minister Counsellor for Commercial Affairs at the Thai Embassy in Cairo, paid a courtesy call on Lt.Gen. Abdelmonem Eltarras, Chairman of Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI). Both sides exchange views on opportunities to promote cooperation between Thailand and Egypt in terms of business, investment, and technical cooperation in several potential areas.
