On Sunday 13 April 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy organized Songkran Day 2014 at the Ambassador’s residence. The event was attended by approximately 120 Thais. The participants enjoyed various activities such as Thai buffet lunch, the auspicious water pouring ceremony, Thai traditional play, karaoke singing contest in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  

             In his remarks, the Ambassador points out the importance to preserve Thai Tradition, culture and the significance of harmony and unity of Thai community. The Ambassador also expressed the Embassy's readiness to continuing support the activities of Thai community in Egypt.
