On 3 February 2014, The Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Students' Association in Cairo jointly arranged a program called “Capacity-Building for the Committee of the Thai Students' Association Year 2014-2015” at the office of the Thai Students' Association, with approximately 40 participants.

                 Officials of the Royal Thai Embassy briefed the new committee on financial matters, official letter, guidelines for writing project proposal, evacuation plan, emergency plan, and coordination between the Thai Students' Association and the Royal Thai Embassy. H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt also took part in the event. He stressed the importance of unity among Thai students. He also asked them to support each other and bore in mind that they represented Thailand in Egypt. The Ambassador also reaffirmed the Royal Thai Embassy’s readiness to extend supports in all possible ways to Thai students who will play an important roles in developing the country in the future.  

                 On this occasion, the Ambassador, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and the committee of the Thai Students' Association had lunch together, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
