On 28 January 2023, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, attended the 264th ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Meeting, chaired by Viet Nam, in Ain Sokhna. The Meeting discussed about the ACC Annual Activities in 2023 to promote awareness and collective interests of ASEAN in Egypt. On this occasion, Thailand updated the Meeting about the status of the brown bag session on ASEAN with leading universities in Egypt, which is scheduled to take place in 2023. Furthermore, Ambassador Ewtoksan informed the Meeting about Thailand’s candidature to host the Expo 2028 - Phuket.
