On 19 September 2023, Mr. Niwat Apichartbutra, Commercial Attaché, Office of Commercial Affairs in Cairo, met with Mr. Mohamed Gamal, General Manager of the National Company for Fisheries and Aquaculture at the Ministry of Investment of Egypt. Mr. Gamal stressed Thailand’s capability and expertise in fishery and aquaculture and looked forward to forging a cooperation with Thailand in the said fields, particularly in canned tuna industry.

On this occasion, the Commercial Attaché also paid a courtesy call on Mr. Ahmed Shireen Korayem, Vice President of the General Authority for Investment & Free Zones, which is the main investment authority of Egypt.
