On 15 February 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy together with the Office of Commercial Affairs in Cairo have officially opened Thai Food Bazaar 2024, which will take place during 15-17 February 2024 at Al Horreya Garden in Zamalek, Cairo. There are food stalls from Thai SELECT restaurants, local Thai restaurants, clubs under Thai Students' Association in Cairo under the Royal Patronage as well as the Thai community in Egypt. The event aims to promote awareness about Thai food in Egypt and expand opportunity for exporting of Thai ingredients, processed food, drinks and condiments. At the bazaar, there are also cultural performances, Thai Boxing (Muay Thai), and Thai cooking demonstration.

On this occasion, the Embassy also had a soft launch for the logo to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Egypt.
