On 31 May 2022, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt met with Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Head of Authority of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). Both sides discussed the promotion of cultural and archaeological cooperation between Thailand and Egypt. On this occasion, Ambassador visited NMEC, where the Royal mummies, Kings and Queens, are located following their move from the old museum in Pharoahs' Golden Parade in April 2021.
