On 23 June 2022, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presented the Letter of Recall of his predecessor and the Letter of Credence, in which His Majesty the King of Thailand appointed him as Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Eritrea with residence in Cairo, to H.E. Mr. Isaias Afwerki, President of the State of Eritrea, at the Presidential Palace in Asmara. On this occasion, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and opportunities to further promote bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially fishery, tourism and agriculture, for the mutual benefits between the two countries.
