On 21 August 2022, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Arab Republic of Egypt, paid a courtesy call on His Eminence Professor Dr. Shawki Ibrahim Abdelkarim Allam, Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Thai Ambassador noted that the Office of the Grand Mufti organized training courses on Methodological Building Fatwa and Combatting Extremist Thought which international students including Thai students were interested and attended. On this occasion, the Grand Mufti presented certificates to Thai students who attended the training courses.
