On 6 June 2023 H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, invited Professor Hatim Osman M. Khair, Vice-Chancellor of International University of Africa (IUA) which is located in Khartoum and Professor Gasm Elseed Ibrahim, Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, for a meeting at the Embassy to discuss the current status of the University and ways to assist Thai students who have been evacuated from the Sudan back to Thailand about document from the IUA.
