On 26 March 2023, H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, along with Mr. Thalenrgsak Vongsamsorn, Minister Counsellor for Commercial Affairs, and Mr. Teerayoot Sooksood, Managing Director of SCG International Middle East Trading L.L.C. in Dubai, met with Mr. Ahmed Mustafa, CEO of Hassan Allam Trading & Engineering, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo to discuss enhancing business cooperation and investment opportunity between Thailand and Egypt in the areas of mutual interest. On this occasion, the Thai Ambassador invited Mr. Mustafa to visit Thailand in the near future to meet Thai businessmen in several sectors and explore opportunity for investment in Thailand, especially in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
