On 21 August 2024, Mr. Thanabordee Joothong, Chargé d'affaires a.i., attended the 272nd ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Heads of Mission Meeting at the Philippines Embassy in Cairo, chaired by Singapore. The Meeting discussed the ACC Annual Activities to raise awareness about ASEAN in Egypt to be held in the rest of 2024, including Thailand’s proposal to organize two Brown Bag Sessions on ASEAN with Badr University in Cairo (BUC) and the American University in Cairo (AUC) respectively in September this year.
